Dr Sophie Bouvresse is a French medical doctor and a board-certified Dermatologist and Venereologist.

She was trained (medical training and dermatology specialty) and held several positions (including residency and senior residency) within Assistance Publique- Hôpitaux de Paris and graduated from Université Pierre et Marie Curie – Paris VI, France. Her contribution to research in the field of severe adverse drug reactions and infectious disease/ectoparasitosis is noticeable.

She now lives in London, practicing as a dermatology consultant for NHS patients and in private practice.

Dr Bouvresse holds a master’s degree in pharmacology and an inter-university degree in “aesthetic dermatology, dermatological lasers and cosmetology” as well as an inter-university diploma in surgical dermatology. She has several years of experience working within an international pharmaceutical company as medical expert in the field of non-melanoma skin cancer and acne.

She is a member of the Société Française de Dermatologie (French dermatology society) and of the British Association of Dermatologists.

Dr Sophie Bouvresse specializes in medical dermatology for adults and children: her expertise covers the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair and nail conditions.  This includes the detection and treatment of skin cancers and pre-cancerous lesions, the diagnosis and management of dermatological conditions such as acne, psoriasis, atopic eczema, warts and many others.
